Maha Gauri is one of the nine forms of Nav Durga, worshipped on the eighth day of Navratri, the festival dedicated to Goddess Durga.

- Legend – Maha Gauri's form is linked to Goddess Parvati, who, after performing intense penance, was cleansed by the waters of the Ganges, transforming into this glowing white form.
- Benevolent and Powerful – She is believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees and is considered a symbol of purity, grace, and divine blessing.
- Depiction – Maha Gauri is shown as a four-armed goddess seated on a bull, holding a trident, conch, and a fire pot (representing her divine energy and control over cosmic fire).
