Lunar Nadi – the psychic channel in the body called as Pingala, depicting feminine energy called as Pingala.
Nadis are the subtle, psychic channels in the subtle body. In the subtle body, there are fourteen principle nadis out of which three nadis are most important – Ida, Pingala, and Sushmana. These are the channels or the pathways through which prana (life energy) flows. Like chakras, these nadis aren’t physically visible inside the body. Ida is the left psychic channel. It is feminine in nature and is represented by moon. Therefore, it is also known as Lunar Nadi. The feminine doesn’t represent the gender, but the certain qualities. Ida is associated with river Ganga. It begins at the Muladhara chakra or the 1st chakra and ends in the left nostril.
