Hema Malini till today has never been seen in a Cleopatra look on the Indian Screen. The still is from Ramanand Sagar’s super hit film “Charas” starring Dharmendra & Hema Malini. The entire publicity campaign was launched on the catch line “Hottest Romance of the year” Hemaji playing the role of theatre actor, dressed in a Cleopatra kind of costume performs a stage dance item on the song – “Apke shehar mein aayi ek hasina …. mera naam mera naam Ballerina” The costume was designed by Oscar award winner Bhanu Athaiya. Hemaji has never looked so gorgeous voluptuous and Cleopatra beauty as in this still by Prem Sagar – FIIPC-ARPS-AFIAP
