Sahasrara Chakra Mandala – 7th the Energy centre or Crown chakra represented as sacred geometry.
Sahasrara Chakra or “Crown chakra” is the 7th the energy center located at the crown of the head. Sahasrara means 1000 petals, and it is symbolically represented by a lotus with 1000 different colored petals. When the Kundalini energy, traveling from the lower chakras, ascends to the Sahasrara Chakra, the Yogi reaches the zenith of consciousness. The duality ends here and our consciousness merges with the consciousness of the cosmos. At this point, the Yogi can leave the body at will and merge with the supreme consciousness, Brahman. Hence, it is associated with enlightenment and divinity. The Mandala symbolically represents Sahasrara Chakra with thousand petals. The thousand petals are arranged in variegated colours of the rainbow. The white colour represents sattva guna.
