Swadisthana Chakra or the “Sacral Chakra” is the 2nd energy center located just above the Muladhara Chakra near the pubic bone. It is symbolically represented by a lotus with six, orange petals. The six petals represent six consciousness—Visual, Auditory, Olfactory, Gustatory, Tactile, and Mental. Hence, it is associated with our connection and relation to rest of the world. It represents reproduction through which the species propagate. It is concerned with lower abdomen, kidneys, reproductive organs and glands. It correlates to the Water element. Water represents fluidity and motion and this Chakra is associated with the motion of our emotions.
